“The pleasant taste of art”, an art education project carried out by the third didactic circle, directed by Rita Turrini, in the 2006-2007 school year, won the first prize at the biennial of children's art at the Museum of Applied Art in Belgrade, one of the few museums in the world specialized in children's art. The path introduced the children to the knowledge of traditional Emilian foods combined with contemporary art, with the interaction of artists and pedagogists who worked with the children of the S. Giovanni Bosco, Carducci and Don Gnocchi schools. Three works of art created by the children were selected by an international jury, awarding them for the best expression of creativity and originality, and will be permanently exhibited at the Belgrade Museum. The project, conceived by Tina De Falco, in collaboration with the artistic association In-Arte, was financed by the Cassa di Risparmio di Modena Foundation, Ceramica Due, Cir and the Municipality of Sassuolo. The workshops were conducted by Laura Corallo for the Knowing workshops, Daniela Duca for the Communication with food path, Maria Clotilde Schenetti for the Making Art workshops, Lia Mariani for Making Crete.
