Women who let themselves be carried away by the wind that caresses them, pushes them, distances them from something that is overwhelming them. Floating, colorful dresses and certainly contemporary women of our time who love to feel free from prejudices. Their gazes are elsewhere, not on what is there in front of them, eyes closed as if dreaming, eyes that are looking for the other to find the same need for emancipation. The artist Schenetti has repeatedly demonstrated his love for the female figure by painting her with sometimes cheerful, sometimes cold colors to highlight the various faces of the feminine. A woman is never just one, but she can be so much and everything at any age in her life and we can also glimpse this in the work of our artist.
In the work of rain, of the crowd, of human walking, Schenetti has fun with the colors of the earth making the characters evanescent and at the same time people of this world. Not precise faces, but just hints as we perceive them when we find ourselves in the tangle of a crowd that is overwhelming us. A knot that cannot be untied, which remains where we experienced it.
The technique is once again ink and watercolors which are congenial to the artist and make her a master of the use of color that drips onto the sheet.
