The contemporary art festival “Tina B.” will be inaugurated in Prague on Wednesday 17 October, hosting 115 artists and 9 curators. This year three artists from Sassuolo will also be present: Emido Cocchi, Caterina Lombardo and Maria Clotilde Schenetti. The exhibition at the Gud Gallery in Prague 1 will host a work created by the three artists for the delight of children. It is a 75 square meter carpet where children will be able to roll around to enter into a relationship with art. Emidio Cocchi's artistic project saw the work of all three artists who worked for a few months to create this gigantic carpet which is sometimes grass and sometimes a sea with lots of little fish. The walls of the gallery will host drawings by children from many Italian and European cities. There are also drawings by children from Sassuolo from the 3rd comprehensive school. The children of San Giovanni Bosco Primary School represented their happiness using different compositional techniques. Everything is curated by Tina de Falco (in the photo with the three artists), an expert in children's art and president of the "Inarte" artistic association. Emidio Cocchi will be present in Prague, who will take care of the installation, Tina de Falco and Maria Clotilde Schenetti who will take care of the workshops for Czech children. The festival will end on October 31st, while the Italian opera will remain until November 30th.
TINA B. in GUD continues until 26.11. 2012
Do not hesitate to visit the exhibition of the Italian curator Tina de Falco (Artists: Emidio Cocchi, Catherine Lombardo and Maria Clotilde Schenetti)
The artists have prepared a magical carpet made of colorful fabrics for children to play with and find inspiration in. They will discover giant snails, colorful flowers or, for example, things that have been lost from fairy tales.
