Schenetti's two works, although created with different techniques, one in ink and the other in oil, seem to share the essence: both take us towards the sea, into its depths, into its secret abysses. It is as if every stroke and brushstroke were part of a journey towards an underwater world, a dark realm full of hidden mysteries. In these representations, we perceive a common intent: to hide and reveal at the same time, as if the spectator were invited to decipher an enigma hidden among the shadows of the sea depths.
The artist Clo, with his extraordinary mastery in the use of color, always manages to surprise us, to evoke emotions and wonder through his artistic sensitivity. Here we are faced with two works which, despite being different in consistency and materials, seem to dialogue with each other, almost as if one were the natural extension of the other. The fluidity of the ink and the density of the oil create a contrast which, paradoxically, makes them complementary: one enriches the other, pushing us to imagine beyond what we see, to explore what lies behind the surface.
