Paintings in poetry
How many times have you looked at a painting and it reminded you of a poem. Learned at school, felt at home, read somewhere. And after all, how many times have you read a poem that seemed to describe a painting, or evoked your memory?
"Quadri in poesia" is the new gallery of the Tele di Clò, which will see the collaboration of the painter Maria Clotilde Schenetti and the poet Sergio Camellini.
Periodically, a painting will be associated with a poem by the author that underlines or remembers its characteristics.
A mutual relationship between artists, which will serve to enhance the visual characteristics with the word or vice versa, to enrich the poetic verse with the image.
Maria Clotilde Schenetti's paintings deal with every type of visual representation, from landscape to abstract art, with different techniques and chromate choices. They therefore lend themselves perfectly to being communicated also with the word in a varied and original way, according to what the canvas wants to convey from time to time.
Sergio Camellini, born in Sassuolo, is a psychologist specialized in biopsychosexology and above all an authentic poet, an illustrious singer of simplicity. He is a scholar of poor art of peasant civilization and crafts, as well as the founder of a house museum on the Emilian Apennines. He has published a work on body language, a complete work and fourteen books of poetry. As a poet, he sings the little joys, the daily hardships, nature, love, memories that lead to reflections on human existence with sweetness and wisdom. His works have been highlighted in poetry notebooks and literary studies. He has obtained numerous awards with national and international awards. For his achievements in the literary sector, he was awarded an additional eight career awards. Some of his works have been disseminated to schools. Much more could be added. But let's let his words tell us something more.
A singer of simplicity and peasant life, but also, for example in his latest work, "Wanderer of dreams", capable of listening to the dreamlike dimension, "in the suggestion of wearing the wings of art, looking up towards the sky and soar in flight like Icarus, towards the sun and towards beauty without fear. Like a new Ulysses at the Pillars of Hercules, I cross the threshold between finite and infinite, between dream and reality ".
A versatile author, therefore, just as versatile are the Tele di Clò. We can expect great surprises from this collaboration, which could be followed by others in the future.
