A particular moment of a particular project at the "Splash Museum" of the San Giovanni Bosco primary school. This time a group of painters, not only from Sassuolo, intervened to give an extra touch of professionalism to an initiative of the teacher Tina de Falco.
"This time - confirms the teacher - we have 4 artists who are working for us. Two are from Sassuolo, one comes from Bologna and the other from Novi di Modena. Two have created two new doors.
The others, who are from Sassuolo and are Emilio Cocchi and Maria Clotilde Schenetti have made a tree on which the children of the first and the second prepared their leaves they have applied. These leaves will have changed as the seasons will come. Now they will also change for Christmas. It is a way so that the child can also intervene on the work of an artist. We educate to beauty and this is continuous exchange between the artist and the children ". Lino Borghi arrived from Bologna, enthusiastic to work with the children.
«The children are even the source of inspiration for my works - he says - and I draw from them everything I do and I come back child. I work and in the works I do, even the abstract, I have the soul of the child inside me, because they give me a lot. When they see me working they understand and ask me and I make them understand that they are the source of inspiration for everything I do, regardless of the subject, from the work ».
Carlo Moretti arrived, however, from Novi di Modena. "It was a very interesting experience - he confirms - and we worked with them who looked at us and gave us advice, they also corrected us. I had already done it and when Tina involved me I said yes immediately because it is a beautiful idea that I have never seen anywhere. Here I brought my country of origin: I am not Novese, I am from Luzzara, so I brought a little Zavattini who had a relationship with his own with the children ". The Sassolesi are Maria Clotilde Schenetti and Emilio Cocchi." I have worked for years in this school - says Schenetti - and the children have learned a lot also from me. Finally we have made a dream come true: this "Splash Museum" really gives us the opportunity These children have managed to do in many years ".
"Working with children is a wonderful thing - Cocchi closes - because they are pure, they have ideas, they put you live silver on me. I immediately believed in this project. The children give you fantastic energy, and I am happy to be able to continue in this collaboration and these initiatives of the museum". (A. Scibona)
